The flagship.

The Innovation Hub is ITKAN's national headquarters and the largest single chapter in the network. The Plano facility hosts the organization's leadership, primary FRC teams, and the events that bring the network together.

The Hub's Grand Opening in 2024 drew Plano's mayor, state representatives, FIRST in Texas leadership, and community members from across the country, a public marker that ITKAN had arrived as a serious force in Texas STEM education.

Where it all began.

MAS DFW is the founding chapter of the Marvels program. When Dr. Mohamed Ebeida relocated to Dallas in 2021, he launched The Marvels of MAS DFW, the first Muslim community robotics teams in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The original Marvels of MAS FTC team (later rebranded as ITKAN Solar, #19564) was the seed from which the entire ITKAN network grew. The Marvels' rapid growth in programming, build, 3D-modeling, and outreach proved a model could work across communities, and became the blueprint for what ITKAN would later scale to chapters nationwide.

The Carolinas hub.

The Islamic Association of Raleigh anchors ITKAN's network in the Carolinas, one of six North Carolina chapters that together form the densest non-Texas concentration of ITKAN teams.

Marvels of IAR rose quickly through the FTC ranks, sweeping innovation and performance awards in its first competitive season.

The breakout expansion.

Tawasaw Institute is ITKAN's California beachhead and the network's most dramatic single-year expansion. The 2024 partnership sent FRC 9128 to Silicon Valley for a multi-day showcase that included a banquet presentation to 600+ community members and an FLL Robo Olympics for 40+ kids ages 6 to 12, together helping raise $1M+ for the Tawasaw Institute.

From a single visit, ITKAN launched 5 FTC teams and 14 FLL teams in California and trained 30+ mentors and coaches. New California teams then traveled to the Plano lab for a 3-day mentorship residency, and went on to win awards in 100% of their inaugural-season events.
