Engineering, mentorship,
and a mission.

Dr. Mohamed Ebeida is a research scientist whose career spans computational geometry, mesh generation, and applied engineering. He served for years as a research scientist at Sandia National Laboratories before founding Discretize, a computational engineering company.

ITKAN began in 2016 in New Mexico, where Dr. Ebeida led a Muslim robotics team to a breakout season: 25 trophies and the NM regionals championship. After moving to Dallas in 2021, he launched The Marvels of MAS DFW, the first Muslim community robotics teams in Dallas, which grew into a model for chapters nationwide.

Today Dr. Ebeida leads ITKAN as it scales the Marvels model to Islamic centers across the United States, with the same conviction: that the path to leadership runs through excellence in science and technology.

“As we, Muslims, rise, we want to lift everyone else with us, to create a stronger, healthier society for all.”
