03 How a Chapter Works

Hosted at your masjid.

Powered by parents, supported by ITKAN.

  • On-site: every session and team meeting is held at the masjid.
  • Sponsored to start: the masjid backs the team until it’s self-sustaining through sponsorships, fundraising, and grants.
  • Parents engaged: each parent joins a committee — Programming, CAD/Build, Marketing, or Logistics & Tarbiyah.
  • Weekly sessions of 5+ hours, with ITKAN providing curriculum and mentor support.

At an Islamic school? The program can run as an after-school club — parents stay engaged, and there’s still no tuition to take part.
