FLL Summer Training
Where every ITKAN engineer begins β LEGO robotics, code, and teamwork. FIRST LEGO League is where ITKAN students begin. Through hands-on LEGO robotics, young students get their first real taste of engineering, programming, and problem-solving β the same foundation that has grown into 38 ITKAN FLL teams across 13 states. Over the summer, students build and iterate real robots, learn block-based programming with LEGO Spike Prime, and take on a real-world innovation project as a team β then present it to others, just as they would at a tournament. Rooted in ITKAN's belief that excellence in STEM is an Islamic obligation, the camp pairs technical skill with the FIRST Core Values of Gracious Professionalism and Coopertition. What students take with them: β’ Engineering design through LEGO build and iteration β’ Block-based programming with Spike Prime β’ Real-world problem framing and innovation projects β’ Teamwork, communication, and presentation skills β’ FIRST Core Values: Gracious Professionalism & Coopertition Held at the ITKAN Innovation Hub Β· 1701 10th Street, Plano, TX 75074 Grades 3β5 Β· Ages 7β12 Β· Summer 2026

CAD Summer Training
Think in three dimensions. Design the machines of tomorrow. CAD is the foundation of modern engineering β the software through which today's most complex machines are designed, modeled, and tested before a single physical part is ever built. From aerospace components to surgical tools, CAD is how engineers turn ideas into reality. In this 8-week intensive, students move from core design principles and hands-on modeling in month one to integrating their designs into a competition-ready robot in month two β under conditions that mirror a real season. Learning CAD here means developing a true engineering mindset: thinking in three dimensions, designing with precision, and refining with purpose. Skills that translate directly into robotics, aerospace, biomedical engineering, architecture, and manufacturing. What students take with them: β’ Core CAD principles and 3D modeling β’ Precision design and engineering drawings β’ Designing parts for a real, competition-ready robot β’ Iterative design: model, test, and refine β’ An engineering mindset and spatial reasoning Held at the ITKAN Innovation Hub Β· 1701 10th Street, Plano, TX 75074 Grades 7β12 Β· Ages 11β18 Β· Summer 2026 Β· 8 weeks

Programming (Java) Summer Training
Code that holds up when it matters most. ITKAN's programming curriculum is about more than writing code. Students learn to think algorithmically, break complex problems into clear solutions, and debug with confidence β because the best code isn't just code that works, it's code that holds up when it matters most. Across the 8-week intensive, students build a foundation in month one β developing control systems and autonomous routines β then in month two integrate their code with the team's CAD designs into a competition-ready robot. The program culminates in a live Mock Season: an off-season competition where students experience alliance selections, match strategy, and the full energy of a real field. When the official season arrives, nothing is unfamiliar and nothing is intimidating. What students take with them: β’ Algorithmic thinking and problem decomposition β’ Java fundamentals applied to robotics β’ Control systems and autonomous routines β’ Debugging with confidence under pressure β’ Integrating code with hardware for competition Held at the ITKAN Innovation Hub Β· 1701 10th Street, Plano, TX 75074 Grades 7β12 Β· Ages 11β18 Β· Summer 2026 Β· 8 weeks
