ITKAN-404 Reaches Chesapeake Championship, Ranks #7 Out of 48

In the 2025–2026 season, ITKAN-404 (#27377) qualified for the FIRST Tech Challenge Chesapeake Championship at Meadow Event Park in Doswell, Virginia — one of the largest FTC regional championship events on the East Coast, drawing 96 teams from DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Competing in the Red Cardinal Division, the team finished qualification rounds 6–1, earning the #7 seed out of 48 teams. They reached the playoffs and served as Alliance Captain #5. At the close of the event, ITKAN-404 appeared at #25 in the official advancement report — showing how close they came to advancing to the next level. The road to the championship included awards at three qualifiers: Inspire Award (3rd Place) and Finalist Alliance at Roanoke VA, Innovate Award sponsored by RTX (2nd Place) at Moorefield WV, and the Reach Award at Alexandria VA. Each event sharpened the team's engineering, strategy, and judging performance. What started as a masjid-based robotics team is now competing at the highest regional level. Alhamdulillah.
