Alhamdulillah, ITKAN-MASDC was represented at the MAS Youth 25th Annual Youth Meeting in Atlanta! It was a great opportunity to share what we have been building at MASDC: a parent-powered robotics program where our youth learn, build, compete, lead, and grow together in an environment rooted in Islamic identity and tarbiyah. Our program combines FLL and FTC competitive robotics with mentorship, teamwork, youth leadership, and community service.
A special thank you to our ITKAN-MASDC representative who traveled to Atlanta and represented all of us - our students, parents, mentors, coaches, and volunteers. Jazakum Allahu khairan for carrying our story beyond Virginia and sharing what this community has built together. May Allah bless everyone who made this journey possible.
From starting Virginia's first ITKAN chapter to now sharing our experience with the wider MAS community, Alhamdulillah for how far the team has come. And we are still just getting started. 🤖💚
