ITKAN-MASMinds (#65427) competed at the VA-DC FLL Challenge Qualifier in the 2025–2026 season and earned two major awards: 1st Place in Robot Performance (Division 2) and 2nd Place in the Champion's Award (Division 2) — advancing to the VA-DC FLL Championship. The results reflected growth across every dimension of the competition: robot design, autonomous programming, innovation project research, and judging presentation. The team demonstrated the ability to break large problems into smaller tasks, test and improve under pressure, and speak confidently to judges and sponsors. MASMinds is the feeder team in ITKAN-MASDC's K–12 robotics pipeline — most members are younger students building the foundation that will carry them into FTC and eventually FRC. Reaching the championship level in the 2025–2026 season is proof that the pipeline is working. The program runs tuition-free, entirely inside MAS Washington, D.C., powered by parent mentors sharing their technical expertise with the next generation.
