ITKAN started in a 500 sqft room in 2022. Four years later we’re operating a 24,000 sqft Innovation Hub, 75 FIRST teams, and a network that spans 13 states, 6 countries, and 4 continents, serving over 1,200 students directly and reaching millions more through media and outreach.

Our impact runs in four directions: building a self-sustaining pipeline from camps through FRC, spreading the FIRST mission through trained mentors and open-source resources, advancing advocacy at city, state, and national levels, and creating opportunity for the underserved through Coding for a Cause, GoBabyGo, MUHSEN, and the Ma’Ruf refugee STEM camps.

$1.24M secured. $500K raised independently by mentee teams trained in grant-writing. 227 internship opportunities curated. 95% of alumni pursuing STEM at top universities. 4.8M+ global media views, including a 20-million-viewer Al Jazeera broadcast.
